Selling my rare original 1956 Marilyn Monroe photograph taken as a publicity photo for her movie ”Bus Stop” In wonderful condition. Absolutely stunning. Here she is looking gorgeous in the midst of her song and dance routine. Size 8 x 10 in. A 20th Century Fox Film. Gelatin silver. Size 8 x 10 in. This was produced in 1963 because it says narrated by Rock Hudson and it has a copyright date on the front bottom left side.

Marilyn Monroe and Don Murray co-starred in Bus Stop, 1956. This was Marilyn’s first film back at Fox after walking out on her contract and a year in New York studying acting under Lee Strasberg. Reporters and critics wondered if Marilyn’s return and work with the Strasberg’s would do her any good. When the film was released, everyone was impressed and it is reported that producer Buddy Adler said, “I held out for her return because she was the only one for Bus Stop.”
