Thetheatreitself originally opened in 1888 as the NewGerman Theatreand from 1949 to 1989 it was known as the SmetanaTheatre.Exact age of the photo is not known, but based on various images from the collection it appears to be late 1890\'s.
Photo is from travel collection, image is in good condition for it\'s age. Cabinet card is not torn or broken, minor wear showing from age with most wear on edges. Back of card shows some wear, it appears the card was mounted in a album at one point. Please see photos for additional details on condition.
