From a recent Boston area estate sale.
Offered is an 1880s Victorian advertising trade card featuring CZAR baking powder thatwas manufactured in New Haven, Connecticut by the Steele & Emery Company (a grocerand importer). Printed by Empire Lith. & Eng. Co. circa 1880. Measures approx. 4-3/4" x 3".Features a woman, boy and cat along with an oversized loaf of bread and a can of CZAR.
Condition: Unused but over 125 years old so I am marking it as "used." No rips, creases or marks.Nice bright colorful graphics.
