The battery pack is manufactured using fresh Tenergy brand 1000 mAh NiCd cells, including custom nickel V-shaped terminals, welded in-place.

Note: Use of NiCd cells is ideal since the original HP batteries were also were manufactured with NiCd cells and do not pose potential charging complications with higher energy NiMH cells.
