Description

A vintage piece of Mid-Century Modern fabric yardage in mint unused condition. Fantastic pattern of large mushrooms in vibrant colors against a slate gray/blue background. Could make great window panel, pillow covers, whatever you desire really. This is not upholstery weight fabric, but it is a good medium weight, tight weave cloth, has a linen like appearance in the low texture. Color palette on the scrooms - blues, greans -including that rich chartreuse, golden tan and brown. Pattern is striking against the background color.

Marked © M. Lowenstein & Sons on selvages. Paper label was glued on fabric but was so dried out it came loose when I was opening up the fabric- it reads "WASH-N-WEAR, Little or No Ironing Made in U.S.A." (hmmm really?). Fabric content is not marked but to my hand it looks and feels like a cotton or possibly linen cotton blend. Very handsome quality cloth.

Approx. 2yds 10ins x 44" wide. Vertival return approx. 15-1/2", horizontal return 19-1/2".

Beautiful pre-owned vintage condition, unused. Has been in storage for decades, could use airing but it does NOT have a bad smell, just natural age appropriate closed up smell which will leave when aired-or laundered. Clean, never laundered, has original sizing if any.
