Here is a solid brass vessel with a diameter of 15 and three quarters of an inch including its lip. It stands four and one quarter inch tall. This bowl has a small foot and a lip. It's quite old, and has been in my possession for 30 or 40 years, but I do not know its original purpose, if it had one. I haven't made much effort to clean it, other than dust it. The bowl is free of dents and serious scratches--it has uneven, light tarnishing. This bowl is pretty heavy: it weighs 4 lb 4 oz.
