Portrait of Dr. Edmund Ezra Day (1883-1951) served as the President of Cornel University from 1937 until 1949 during the years of the Second World War when he resigned from ill health.

Trevor Teele (1884-1960) was active in Ithaca from about 1917 until his retirement in 1950 photographing many Cornelians over the years.
