This beautiful figurine made in Germany, pattern #1318, is a seated ballerina adjusting her slippers, is one of a series of ballerina figurines that the Wallendorf Company was famous for creating. Her high-glaze gown is a gorgeous pearl gray/blue shade, which matches the bow in her light blond hair. Lovely skin-tones accent her blue eyes, rosy flush cheeks and beautiful legs. The stylish slippers, arm band and bracelet are polished gold. Created in several sizes, this is a larger one measuring 7.5" in height and 7" across the widest portion of her skirt. Stamped with the Wallendorf Company mark, circa 1950's. No exact date is known for when this version was used by Schaubach, but is was the prototype of the later used crowned 'W' mark, circa 1958-1962. There are no cracks chips or repairs.
