VERY RARE KORITE AMMOLITE RAW STONE SOUTHERN ALBERTA CANADA

Please see all pictures for more details. This is a really beautiful piece but I am by no means an expert on minerals. This particular piece belonged to my father-in-law and he has had it for over 30 years. It came out of a mine in southern Alberta Canada, and was gifted to him years ago by the mine owner.

The total length of the stone is approximately 9” x 5” tall approximately 2 1/2 inches thick with a total weight 5.3 pounds

The color is very brilliant under the right light and the backside of the stone Almost looks fossilized
