The item is sold as is, as found, and as you see it. The sale is for an unusual vtg. MCM W. Germany large pottery stein. The stein has a pewter lid with an angled top and a graduating top side collar design. More on front side. A raised button design near top near pouring spout. Also, a collar type design near bottom. The outside is a lava volcanic textured glaze with dark browns and muted variations effect with white ish glaze inside and a blue ish tinge, bried, on top edging near inside. It has a Spanish conquistodor type style. It has an inscription incised marks on bottom. Cannot read but last word may be Handarbeit. Then initials, maybe of the artist. No chips/cracks but has age related issues. Dirt in crevices, flaws in pottery like spots dots lumps and bumps. Will have glae/pottery flaws. The pewter lid can have tarnish, age related surface wear as there is a top wear spot in center of lid. Underside of lid, no dents or bending; just wer. The inside of stein in the walls, lumps and bumbe and interior bottom. There;s a vertical scuff near handle on emblem side leaving a chalky type scuff. Two emblems near bottom; maybe a silver plastic with black antiquing. Glue residue on sides and brown painted color. The color can be uneven and have edge scuffs or made that way, as found. The underside is marked; it has scuffs and a few spots around the side near base. A few white spots in center near matte glaze. See all pics as they are part of description.
