Antique HTL Hold to Light Postcard Happy New Year 1909 - 2 Girls, Light-up Snow Numbers, Fruit, Stars Vintage Postmarked Dec 31, 1908Condition (see definitions below): Excellent--antique hold-to-light HTL postcard in beautiful condition, tiny corner bumps. Subject: 2 little girls in Edwardian winter coats, hats, mittens and boots in a snowstorm, standing next to large 1909 year numbers made of snow; one girl is carrying some fruit in her hand to symbolize good luck and prosperity.
Greeting: "Happy New Year"
Hold-to-Light features--numerous cut-outs on the year numbers 1909, fruit in little girl's hand and tiny stars in the night sky--all glow in different colors when postcard is held in front of a light.
Postmarked Dec 31, 1908--New Year's Eve.
