Vintage Striped Boho Cotton Rug Blanket Handwoven Mexico or Morocco? 80” x 55”:

This vintage handwoven area rug or blanket dates from the 1970s if it’s from Latin America, which is what I believe. I’m not certain of this, however, as in some ways it resembles a Moroccan textile that my parents acquired in the 1990s.
The main stripe colors are pink, cream, grey, and black. If you look closely at the hand-woven fabric, however, you’ll see tiny multicolored variations sprinkled throughout the homespun yarn like confetti.
It is a beautiful piece. Never used or displayed, it’s been stored in a dry, smoke-free environment until now.Measures 80” x 55”
