This vintage necklace has been beautifully crafted by Santo Domingo artist Judy Rosetta. It has a wonderful combination of turquoise, lapis lazuli and spiny oyster shell. The center pendant is a cylinder with colorful mosaic inlay of varying heights. The necklace length is 29\" and the pendant with dangles is 5\" long. It has a silver tag signed by the artist. This colorful necklace is in great vintage condition and ready to be worn.

The Santo Domingo (Kewa) Pueblo is located 25 miles southwest of Santa Fe, New Mexico and has just over 2,500 tribal members. Known best for their hand rolled heishi beads, some of the finestturquoise necklaces are made by Santo Domingo artists. Other traditional forms of Kewa jewelry include mosaic inlay designs on shells.
