All parts are original.
This is a superb user, ready to take shavings in the workshop.
The sole is really solid, beefy, clean and dead flat. It is 12-7/8" long and 2-1/8" wide. There is no rust at all, just a light patina it has acquired over the years. The original japanning is still 99% present.
The blade is 2-1/8" wide and it has been sharpened with oil stones and honed with a leather strop to a mirror finish on both the back and the micro-bevel.
The hardwood tote and front knob are in pristine condition. They are really solid and very comfortable in the hand. Finished with 5 coats of de-waxed garnet shellac.
The frog assembly is really solid and clean. All moving parts (lateral adjuster, depth adjuster, etc) have been lubricated with 3-in-1 light machine oil for a buttery smooth operation.
