This beautiful Kwakwaka\'wakw First Nation doll labelled, Canada Made, is dressed in handmade, traditional Tlingit regalia. Wearing all hand sewn, Northwest Coast felt button blanket, jingle dress apron, and featuring handmade, decorated fur and suede mukluks. she is dressed for a Potlatch or special ceremonial event. The stunning button blanket with red and off white felt is decorated with shell buttons, some forming the shape of triangles there are star shape buttons down the front panels of the blanket, and a sweet little fish at the neckline. On the back of the blanket is a large red felt tree of life, or octopus design decorated with round buttons. The dance skirt is similarly decorated with triangle shapes, shell buttons and on the lower edge a strand of beads and bells. The doll is in excellent condition. She retains all her buttons and bells. no damage rips or tears to the doll or outfit. There is a small area on the white felt under dress, which has a little mark , and a couple of other small marks very unnoticeable. I have added a picture. Her little mukluks are also in great condition.This amazing doll stands 18.5 inches tall. If you are interested in this doll and would like more pictures please let us know.
