This is truly an item of very vintage computer history. It is an Intel C3101A64 bits( not byte ) RAM IC, in a white ceramic case, with gold plated pins, a gold top cover, and the centipede traces on the top. This is the world\'s first true RAM IC, invented towards the end of the 1960s and first produced in 1969. Unlike later C3101A ICs, which were made by Intel the the Far East, this particular IC was made in the United States, so it is among the first made. It uses bipolar, not MOS, transistors. When this device was developed and produced, MOS memories were only experimental and not produced untilabout the early 1970s. The IC is in perfect physical condition, and unlike many other ICs of this type, has been actually tested using an IC tester. It is sold with a90 day warranty.

Shipping:
This item is available worldwide, subject of course to United States export regulations and controls since is a U.S. based company, and equivalent Canadian regulations. After I have received full payment, the item is shipped within one business day, using new materials only. The only method of shipping that I use is the least expensive available version of Canada Post parcel mail that has a tracking number, delivery confirmation, and insurance. This is a Regular Parcel within Canada, Expedited Parcel for the United States, and Registered Air Mail for all other destinations. The cost of shipping is priced in USD, but correctly converts to the actual Canadian retail postal price at the current exchange rate. My shipping rates are the true shipping cost only, and I don’t charge you any additional amount.

When you purchase an item from me, you are agreeing you know the Customs, duties, and tax regulations and costs in your country, and agree to accept delivery and pay such costs upon foreign arrival. The price that you pay for my item on doesn’t include any foreign duties or taxes.They are imposed by you country’s government upon importation, so please don’t confuse them with shipping costs. Since there are so many countries in the world, with frequently changing laws, I’m unable to estimate Customs, duty, and tax issues for you. You’re responsible for knowing what these issues are. Various online calculators are now available which will provide you with this information. Please don’t refuse to accept delivery of the item you purchased from me. Doing so could mean that Customs in your country would either return the item to me at my expense, which would have to be deducted from your refund, or consider the item abandoned. If Customs considers an item abandoned, it is not returned to the sender, meaning I can\'t issue you any refund. I also can’t give you any refund if Customs should seize you item, and not return it to me.

Although it hasn’t happened to any Buyer yet, there is always a risk that an item could be damaged or lost in transit, or delayed. Should this happen, please let me know right away, and I will help you with the , PayPal, and Canada Post claims process. Please note that you still need to accept a visibly damaged package in your country, including the payment of any Customs, duties, and taxes, and then take it to your local post office to file a damage claim. Refusing to accept a damaged package could result in it being returned to me ( which would be at your expense ), or Customs considering it abandoned, meaning that a damage claim can’t be made, and I can’t give you any refund.

Item Warranty:
My item is sold with a limited warranty, applicable to the original Buyer only, that begins when you\'ve received the item upon delivery. It only applies to malfunction and\\or failure when the item is used as the manufacturer intended. The limited warranty doesn\'t apply to accidents, Acts of God, not following or understanding instructions, misuse, tampering, unauthorized repairs\\adjustments, and all related matters. Should the item develop a problem during the warranty time, please contact me promptly. I will first try to resolve the matter through email and pictures. However, if the problem can\'t be resolved in that manner, this item needs to be returned to me at the Buyer\'s cost, using a tracked and insured method. After I receive the item back, it is subject to an inspection. If the item problem is covered by my warranty, I will issue you a full refund for the item only, not including any shipping costs. However, if the problem isn\'t covered by my warranty, I will not issue you any refund, and contact regarding the item\'s disposition.

Return Policy:
I accept all reasonable returns. A reasonable return means the item is in the same condition that I sold it, anddelivery was accepted by you, including payment of all foreign import charges. You also need to let me know in advance, and pay for the return shipping costs. After I receive the item back, it is subject to an inspection. As long as the item is in the same condition I sold it, I will give you a full refund of the original item selling price only. Other costs, such as original and return shipping, and foreign import costs are not refundable by me. However, most countries will give the Buyer a refund of most of their import charges, by filling out a special form from their country\'s Customs office and providing proof the item was returned to me. Please note that I cannot give you any refund if the returned item is not in the same condition I sold it. I will then contact regarding the item\'s disposition.

UK Distance Selling Regulations & EU Similar Regulations:
If you live in the UK, I agree to be bound the by Distance Selling Regulations. Your statutory rights as a retail consumer are not affected. If you live in the EU, I agree to be bound by the equivalent EU regulations, and your statutory rights as a retail consumer are not affected either.

I have always had a serious commitment to your privacy. I am legally required by US and Canadian law, and morally, to properly protect the confidentiality of your personal information. Except as required by Canadian law, I don’t disclose any information whatsoever about you to any third party. I fully respect and follow ’s Privacy Policy for Sellers. I also don’t solicit you after the transaction has been successfully completed for any purpose, unless you request it. Your information is only retained for a six year time period, to comply with various laws regarding business record retention. At the end of the six year time period, your information is completely destroyed in accordance with all applicable laws, using approved methods. I also don’t under any circumstances use third party providers which collect or analyze your information, such as programs or services that confidentially predict to me or others which Buyers could be a problem. I also don’t participate in violating your privacy in any way through any third party- for example, by accepting and acting upon communications from others who make claims about you. You have the right during the six year data retention period to obtain from me without charge any information about yourself regarding this transaction from me, and\\or to correct any incorrect information.
