This vintage set of Hoosier tin spice jars and canisters is a must-have for any collector or lover of Art Deco design. The set includes eight pieces, featuring lithographic Art Deco designs of a woman and patterns in gold color. The set includes six jars, two canisters, and lids and shakers that fit in a hoosier rack type. The size of the jars and canisters range from 5" to 7" in height, with diameters of 2.5", 4.25", and 5.25". The set is an original from the American Canister Company, made in the United States during the 1920s-1940s time period. This unit type collection is perfect for storing spices and adding a unique vintage touch to any kitchen or home.3 of the spice tins have the shaker lid, the other 3 have the solid lids without shaker holes in them.Previously owned, with scuffs, scrapes, paint loss, rust patina, all as shown in photos. Varying degrees of all signs of wear. The handle on the tea lid tends to come loose and needs secured to pull the lid off the canister effectively.
