Vintage Gothic Hand and Half sword carbon steel medieval w/scabbard UNSHARPENED:

Vintage unsharpened carbon steel Gothic Hand and a Half sword with stitched leather scabbard. Handle is leather wrapped and stitched, and is partially wire wrapped.
Dimensions are: 36 inch blade, 47 inch overall length, blade is 1.5 inches at it's widest.
There are no armorer or forging marks, so I have no idea who or where this sword was made. Closest comparable sword I could find was one offered on the Kult of Athena (KOA) website made by Del Tin of Italy for $475 between the KOA sword and the sword in this listing is that the Del Tin features curved cross guards; the sword in this listing has straight cross guards. The Del Tin sword has a 1 inch longer blade, and is 1/2 inch longer overall. Again, I can't confirm that this is a Del Tin sword because it has no markings--but it is very well made for what it is.
Some 25+ years ago, Museum Replicas sold a similar sword with the straight cross guards in their mail order catalog. They used higher quality Del Tin blades and assembled them in-house, but then changed to Windlass Steelcrafts. Again, I can't confirm it's either manufacturers...just that it's a well made sword!
Because I don't know the provenance of this sword, it is being sold as-is; no returns.
