Creamer and Sugar

For Your Vintage Pewter Vintage pewter creamer and sugar bowl both having applied handles. Both pieces have stamped scalloped rims with plain edges. The creamer and sugar both have pedestal type round foot with rounded flared sides rising to the rim. The creamer has an applied delicate and decorative handle and a spout, while the sugar has two applied delicate decorative handles. Both pieces are marked on the bottom of the base. They have a nice aged gray patina. Please view photos as they are part and parcel of our description.

  • Origin: Uncertain but most likely USA
  • Size: Creamer is 3 1/2" at its highest, 2 1/2" diameter at the base, and is 5 1/8" at its widest point including the handle and spout. The sugar bowl is 3 5/8" to the top of the handle, 2 1/2" diameter at the base, and is 6" at its widest including both handles. Both pieces weigh over 10 ounces together.
  • Maker: Uncertain.
  • Marks: Stamped on the bottom of both pieces the words "GENUINE PEWTER".
  • Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: A nice set with the antique classical shape and look. Both pieces are offered for the price of one.
  • Condition: Both pieces are in good condition with no breaks, or repairs. Bothe creamer and sugar have one small and shallow ding to the side wall with the one on the sugar being more pronounced, these are hard to see but can be seen upon close inspection. The base of the creamer is a bit wobbly and out of round. The sugar's base is also a bit out of round but not wobbly. Both pieces have scratches throughout. They also have an aged gray patina. We believe that the pieces would clean nicely with some elbow grease. However, we will leave that to the discretion of the next owner.   • In Closing: A beautiful set of substantial construction. Combined they weigh over 10 ounces and are really solid and feel great in your hand. This is a beautiful set with very nice classic shapes, which would display nicely in your collection.
