A wonderful Taiwanese/Chinese hand-painted porcelain lidded jar of hexagonal shape from the 80's.
Two landscapes (mountains & river/lake), just like traditional Chinese ink paintings, on two bigger sides, with artist hand-written poems, signature, and red seal.
Two other smaller sides are decorated with polychrome flowing flower scrolls. They are of similar design but are different if you look carefully (hand-painted). Just gorgeous !
The lid is also decorated with similar polychrome flowers.All hand-painted.
Carefully and skillfully made.
Marked at the bottom (maybe the name of the kiln).
Excellent condition ! With the exception of an un-noticeable thin chip on the inside of the lid, it is in nearly perfect condition.
Measures almost 8 inches tall (with the lid).
Hard to find.
