This is a vintage Eye/Optometrist test chart from 1945.New old Stock, as they have never been displayed or used.They have been stored for over 70 years in the box.This chart is brand new with some normal sighsof age but no stains, bent corners or any other damage.An original from 1945 and not a modern reproduction.
From Dr. George Jessen & Dr Newton K. Wesley eye practice.Dr. Newton Wesley (October 1,1917-July 21, 2011) was an optometrist and an early pioneer of the contact lens. Wesley was a partner with George Jessen in the development and advancement of contact lens. Together they founded the Wesley-Jessen Corporation as well as the National Eye Research Foundation.
Each print measures approx. 8.5" by 11".
They are printed on cream or of- white cardstock, with visible foxing.Returns
