Victorian-era Vampire Hunter’s Kit.The kit includes everything you need to either hunt down or protect yourself from the Creatures of the night. Kits like these were sold by gypsies to wary travelers who would journey the Transylvanian region. They were also produced as novelties during the late Victorian area.This would make a great gift for any Twilight, Buffy, True Blood, or Wolfman fan. Also makes a great conversational piece. It is very creepy and authentic; similar to ones you would see at Ripley’s.

- Holy Protection is made from wood, glass, metal, or leather. I tried to keep things as accurate as possible. Item is a nice high quality, handmade (by me), self-contained antique box. Everything fits tight and flawlessly. The box measures roughly 14” x 9-1/4” x 4-1/4”. Attached to the lid is a mummified vampire skull. On the back is a removable tomahawk (also pipe). It measures 19” long and the axe head is 5-1/4”.
The pistol is aNON-FIRING, one of a kind, replica of a Double Barrel Dragoon (black powder magnum).The pistol is made of steel (rusting in some places) and the grip is hardwood. The overall length is about 12 inches. The action works just like the original (right hammer only goes half way back) and the ramrod is removable. Inscribed on the gun is “VR 1871 Enfield”. The Enfield Firearms Company would not have produced this. Percussion systems were obsolete by 1871. The whole pistol is crudely engraved by hand. I believe this is a modern-day movie prop. The gun can’t be altered to fire since the crews for the ramrod holder go all the way through the barrels.The pistol also comes with eight .62 caliber lead balls, powder flask, percussion cap tin, nipple wrench with vent pick, brass powder measurer and one silver bullet (painted) which is stored in a separate box attached to the inside of the lid.AGAIN:The gun cannot be altered to fire any projectiles and comes with a permanent, blaze orange, barrel plug.
All the containers are made of glass (not plastic). There’s a 6-1/2” holy water bottle, jar of garlic, and a small jar of garlic blossoms.The antique wooden mallet is sturdy and the 2 wooden stakes are sharp. The knife measures 10 ½” overall and has 6” damascus blade. The handle is made of brass and horn. The compass is inlaid onto a wooden box.The inside of the box contains small vials of garlic powder, wolfsbane, comfrey root (devil’s shoestring), arsenic poison, and silver dust.The kit also contains an antique brass crucifix (stored on inside lid) 2 wax candles, brass candle holders (which swing out from the lid), bat pocket watch (works), vintage, silver-plated mirror (for detecting the vampire), rosary beads, vintage holy protection metal necklace, and a bunch of old matches (striker on lid of matchbox).
