An Absolutely Charming and Rare Santa, Sleigh and Reindeer Candy Container!
Made by The Dolly Toy Company of Tipp City, Ohio, circa 1930’s (marked on back of Sleigh)
Made with Fibro Materials and the Tab-and-Slot Construction that Dolly Toy is famous for
Has Dual Rolling Wheels on the front Reindeer Legs and a large Dowel Axle under the Sleigh, allowing the Candy Container to be rolled back-and-forth as a Toy
This Candy Container Toy was an Advertising Piece by Dolly Toy, made for Whitman’s Chocolates
Measures 7” tall x 11.5” long x 3” wide; the Candy Container Sleigh measures 4.5” long x 2.75” wide

Wear consistent with age: considerable edge wear; glue spot on rear yellow runner (see photo); paper coming off one edge of reindeer (see photo); bend under deer’s leg (see photo); and bend to upper runner of sleigh on one side (see photo)
