Dear Mr. Miller,
just now I have received your letter of April 30
and the package with the interesting things you have sent me.
I am grateful for the National Geographic Magazine"
I have alteady a copy, but I am happy to get one more copy. So, many
thanks for it.
Also I am grateful for the gold plated medal honor-
ing the 50 Adniversary of Lakehurst.
I have written a book on my life but it has not yet
published in English. Today it is possible to get a copy only of
the Italian, Spanish or French edition. Do you know any of these
languages ?
You ask for a personal item of the time when I was in
command of the "norge" and "Italia" I will try to find something for
you, but please wait a few days because I have to go to make a search
in another apartment where I keep some things of the expeditions.
Cordially yours,
Umberto Nobile
