ERDL camouflage jungle fatigues began to arrive in-country in the late 1960s, at first intended for use only by special forces, such as Green Berets, Navy SEALs, and Marine Force Recon. ERDL came in two variations, a green dominant \"lowland\" version, and a brown dominant \"highland\" version. Brown dom ERDL was favored by Navy SEALs, as the pattern was ideal for their low light \"dawn or dusk\" missions. This US Army Vietnam SPECIAL FORCES NAVY SEAL BROWN DOM ERDL CAMO JUNGLE JACKET is in excellent condition, with the left front crafted of a lighter brown dom ERDL pattern than the remainder, a very small surface nick at the upper right sleeve, 4 very small surface nicks at the back neck, a spot of brownish soiling at the right back, a vertical line of dark soiling at the lower left back, and with some light scattered age wear evident (ALL pictured). Otherwise, the jungle jacket is in excellent shape, with absolutely no rips, holes, tears, or other damage to the tough ripstop 100% cotton construction. Most interestingly, it\'s a Size Medium Long, retains a great amount of the vibrant brown dominant ERDL camouflage colors, and isdated 1970 on the original nomenclature tag inside.
