Brand new. Digitally edited and professionally re-printed on photo stock.

From a family estate of a gentleman's collection of gay and male related photographs and ephemera. Most items are from the early to mid 20th century and includes loose photographs as well as some pictures that were cut by the owner from an antique photo album.

Digital Reprint

High Collars is my title for this4"x4" photograph, showing the two men standing side by side in a formal studio portrait.

This photo is the combined top halves of two antique photographs with too much damage in the bottom to salvage, and nearly too much in the top half. I cropped the men roughly in half, and added new faces to replace the nearly obliterated originals. I gave both men the same background and faded it so that when joined, they would look as if they were in the same sitting.

Unfortunately the originals were not salable in their current condition, which is why I pulled them out of the collection to create this new image, inspired by them. Hopefully the effort will help raise more money for charity.
