I brought this fabric from Finland and it is an original Poppies fabric designed by Howard Smith and manufactured by Vallila in 1977. This one has three consecutive bouquets of poppies on the same fabric rather than one that you can normally find. This whole piece could be stretched onto a large canvas to put on the wall. The size of the fabric is 105 inches long x 51 inches wide. Made of cotton.
Condition: The previous owner of the fabric used it as a curtain. The ends were sewn and then opened later. So there is slight fading in a few areas where you can see the fold was located. One section of yellowing near the edge. One small stain, maybe 1/2 inch in diameter. I have included photos of the issues that I have located. They are quite small and I don't think would detract from the enjoyment of this amazing piece. Let me know if you have questions.
