Vintage measurement system from early 1970"s

TheTektronix 2601is the mainframe for the2600 series. There is also a rackmount version, theR2601. Interconnection between plug-ins is accomplished with0.040" pin tipconnectors.

2600-series plug-ins are the same width and height as 7000-series plug-ins, but not as deep.

An adapter, the013-0115-00, allows2600-series plug-insto be used in 7000-series mainframes.

26A1Terminal access adapter designed for custom circuitry was available as well (013-0114-00).

TheTektronix 26A1is an operational amplifier plug-in for the2600 series. It came with a 013-0113-00 terminal access adapter with feathered contacts to implement the operational amplifier response circuit with leaded components without soldering. A blank terminal access adapter designed for custom circuitry was available as well (013-0114-00).

TheTektronix 26G1is a rate generator and ramp generator for the2600 series.
TheTektronix 26G2is a ramp generator plug-in for the2600 seriesmainframes.
It generates ramps with duration ranging from 10μs to 10seconds.
There are outputs with different combinations of amplitude and output impedance. The 10V output has very low output impedance (due to negative response) and has a current limiting circuit that limits it to about 33mA. The 1V output has a resistive output impedance of 50Ω.
The 26G2 uses a155-0029-01integrated circuit for the trigger and a155-0028-00miller integrator chip to generate the ramp. Discrete bipolar transistors are used for the output amplifiers.
TheTektronix 26G3is a pulse generator for the2600 series.
NOTE: TheTektronix 013-0115-00is an adapter that allows2600-series pluginsto be used in7000-series mainframes. Not included in sale.
