Forsale is an impact fragment of a meteorite strike (also known as Tektite). A tektite is a rare natural glass formed when an asteroid strikes the earth. These fragments come from a variety of well-knownmeteor strikes including the Nantan strike (China) and Sikhote-Alin strike(Russian Federation).

· The fragments measure about 1 & 1/4 inches long (4cm) long and may differ slightly from what ispictured in the photos (i.e. some are rounder, some are flatter).

· The fragments weigh approximately 15 to 20 grams apiece on average.

· The composition of these fragments is mostly impact glass and some other compounds including iron, quartz, zircon, rutile, chromite, and monazite.
