John Sturgill Simpson (born June 8, 1978) is an American country music singer-songwriter and actor. As of September 2019, he has released four albums as a solo artist. He released two albums independently, High Top Mountain in 2013 Sounds in Country Music in 2014. His second album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Americana Album, listed 18th on Rolling Stone\'s \"50 Best Albums of 2014,\"and named among \"NPR\'s 50 Favorite Albums of 2014.\" His third studio album, A Sailor\'s Guide to Earth, was released on Atlantic Records and was Simpson\'s first major-label release, later earning him Best Country Album at the 59th Grammy Awards while also being nominated for Album of the Year. Simpson\'s fourth album, Sound & Fury, was released on September 27, 2019.Isaac Dentonis a mixed media and watercolor artist from a small town (Roan Mountain) in East Tennessee. He focuses primarily on figurative, with a focus on portraits. Watercolors are his primary medium, but will supplement with gouache, colored pencils, or ink. His major at ETSU (East Tennessee State University) was Illustration, but he has moved into the realm of fine art painting. After college he joined the United States Air Force as a SERE (Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape) Specialist, and is still currently on Active Duty (15 yrs of Service). While in the service he has lived in many places to include Italy which have broadened my artistic taste. He has 4 boys, ages 2, 4, 10, 12 and a lovely wife Shawna. That being said, it is necessary to maximize his time between my military job, spending time with his boys, and artwork. Isaac currently lives in Spokane, Washington and spends most evenings working on commissioned or personal art pieces. He donates hid time and his talents for the ISAAC Tribute Festival as it is a cause which is close to hisheart (His 4 yr old Elijah is on the spectrum) and Isaac is proud to be a part of such a great local program.
