Repurposed from a vintage fruit knife out of Sheffield England, this mother of pearl, silver and stainless smoking tool is about as good as they get. The artistry of this tamp may elicit good feelings when held...personally, it promps me to a bit of sadness at knowing that our culture no longer can or will produce such a thing. No matter the emotion, I promise that you will feel something when you hold this piece in your hand. To use it when smoking your best pipe will be a treat by any measure.

These were made, by hand, so each is slightly different...some spirals go left, a couple go right. Some handles are a bit bigger, a couple a tad smaller. If this bothers you, then you are a victim of our automated machine age...and this tamp isn't for you. But I know my customers...patina and variation are to be embraced and cherished.
