For sale is a reverse Caesarcipher poly-alphabeticsubstitution encryption device. It is made from old world solid brass. After handling this for a while your hands smell as if you were holding a bunch of old pennies. This is non magnetic. It is in great vintage condition. It has some small circular scratches in between where the two plates meet and slide against one another. Comes as pictured with pencil and walnut latch box. Please note that the last photograph is of a similar unit I found on the Internet. Please note that this has the original brass screws. Nothing is bent or broken and the inner rotor spins freely within the base.

This comes from a large collection of cryptography stuff from an estate sale in Pennsylvania. If you have any questions please ask.

Please note that I have 2 of these that are identical in every way. The second one has the same walnut box with a different pencil. These could be used with a friend to send and receive messages. The buy it now is for one unit.
