SHEAFFER\'S 60s? desk Fountain Pen with 20s base. Great Working Condition ! Very reliable,used it for a week or so & wrote every time I lifted it out of tulip. Had ink in when put away, seal was weak, added silicone grease & it filled with water. Thought it would run out of ink quick,started testing on card & it never ran out! A week later decided to improvise a better plunger seal from excess ink sac leftovers. Made a tool for cutting small improvised seal (last photos) first seal was too small & did not seal. Second one works nice. Have used this method before. Its quite a trick getting the soft little ring into the right place in barrel & plunger together. It works nice but I would recommend buying correct seals. Being the only pen like this I have & being too cheap to buy 20 seals & having 19 that I don\'t need. My stubborn determination to make things work prevailed ;} The base in in good condition with chips on 3 of the top corners, was going to smooth & polish to remove but didn\'t know I had a pen that fit so well. I have enough time in this perfect marriage ;} Imprint on barrel, .SHEAFFER\'S Made in U.S.A. Very nice condition. Smooth writing inlaid 14 Kt Gold Nib.
