This is a higher-grade issue featuring the only 50 cent 100 page giant in the run. It also features reprints of the 1st appearance of Black Adam, Mary Marvel, Captain Marvel Jr, and Mr Tawny. A word of caution...I've recently seen sellers of SHAZAM #17 claiming to have an earlier appearance of Black Adam than SHAZAM #28...this cameo is actually from Marvel Family #1 reprinted in this issue and can be seen on the last panel of page 36 (see my 4th scan). Do not be duped by this fictional claim! Also, sellers of DC Comics Presents #49 are saying that is Black Adam's 2nd appearance...also not true. Black Adam appears in the treasury Superman vs Shazam before DCCP 49.

Graded in Fine condition as it does have some light wear.
