Brand new: Stainless Steel handle with wood resin laminate. The blade length is 2.5 inches. Made in the USSR (Soviet Union) before the collapse in 1991. Foldable Knife—has switchblade design, and a cross guard when the blade is erected. D10 Stainless Steel. No imperfections or blemishes. Perfect condition—with the Soviet Hammer & Sickle Star and emblem carefully positioned into both sides of the knife handle. Comes with a nylon sheath.

(A NOTE DUE TO MANY CONCERNED INQUIRES) This is NOT the cheap knock-off you would find on Amazon or Etsy super cheap. This is the original NKVD (KGB) manufactured knife. I am aware of the knock-offs out there, and I am not price-hiking some cheap Chinese crap.

A Note: I have sold hundreds of Russian items (knives, lighters, petrol zippos, bracelets, hats, and other things)., never once have I seen a “made in Russia” emblem for anything pre-year 2000.

This is due to the communalist nature of the CCCP., whereas contemporaneously, things made in the Russian Federation (February, 2000, and later) will oftentimes state they’re trademarked, or produced and made in the RAF, RF, or Russia. So, this knife has no emblem or indicator for it being created in the Russian Federation, as it was made prior to the collapse of the Soviet Union, and it predates the year 2000. I assure you, through anecdotal experiences and professional endeavours, these statements are accurate and true—and that this is a quality knife for everyday use, especially given the price tag.
