William Rogers Silver Company opened their doors in 1847 crafting sterling and silverplate dinnerware for decades to come and continues it tradition of choice materials, unbeatable craftsmanship, and voluminous patterns like the Victorian pattern on this beautiful water pitcher like the band of repoussé trim just below the top of the pitcher and the cluster of rose blossoms, their stem, leaves, and branches garnished around the serif on top of the pouring handle. Water pitchers typically have an ornate pouring handle, delightful trim engraved or raised from the surface, and a large pouring spout like the water pitcher in this listing. This pitcher dates 1930\'s and is a Victorian reproduction of the time period and Victorian reproductions are even made today because of their innate beauty and grandeur. If this were a real Victorian piece it would date late Victorian (1850-1899) when Queen Victoria ruled all of England.
