Belopolsky, artist A. A. Gorpenko, engineer S. S. Valerius. Opened May 8, 1949. Height - 13 meters. Weight - 70 tons. The Warrior-Liberator monument is a symbol of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War and World War II and the liberation of the peoples of Europe from Nazism.
