This rare mid century vintage, Cairns & Brother Inc leather equestrian fire bucket ice bucket is a must-have for any collector of historical memorabilia related to firefighting. The same leather used for helmets has been used for this item. Solid brass Horsehead is a nod to the historic horse-drawn vehicles of the 17th -19th centuries. This item has a solid wood top concealing what is an intact ice bucket. The fire bucket design will sit proudly in any room with a fire memorabilia collection or equestrian theme. It is large measuring 14.5" tall to finial top without handle and 8.5" wide. It needs some TLC. Saddlesoap, lanolin and something for the wood top. All the stitching is intact. Few scratches to the leather and some look as if they will clean off. I'm offering this in as found condition and hoping a true collector will know what to do.
