This isanultra rare vintage collection of BKS chief engineers wings that dates back to the 1950s/60s.
The 4 cloth and bullion wings were produced before BKS air transport, a now defunct British airline that operated up until 1967 when they changed their name to British Air Services Group.
Examples of this rare badge can be found in the National Air and Space museum.
These wings were designed for pilots and senior stewards of the airline and are a unique piece of aviation history.
The wings are in excellent condition with varying degrees of bullion fade ( common feature to the earlier badges) and are a great addition to any aviation or transportation collectables.
These ultra rare wings are a testament to the history of civil aviation and are a must-have for any collector often attracting very high prices.
They also include the rare stewards pin badge.
These were part of a large collection of vintage pilots and airline badges collected at the time.
Condition as displayed in photographs.

Kept in dark and dry conditions for storage. These are personal items that have either been in storage in a loft or watertight storage area.

Sold as part of downsizing exercise these small pieces come from various vintage collections collected over the years.
