For sale is an rare DATED 1869 Antique 19th Century American tricolor Jacquard Coverlet with clear corner block indicating its manufacturing year and the weaver’s identity. It is made by Owen Morgan in Sommerset county.

This is a well preserved piece of Early American Hand Craft & would be a Wonderful addition to your Collection of antique Primitive and country items/early Americana/antique textile.

Coverlet measures 85" x 80" . There are a few small reddish spots that I have been afraid to try to clean. Some of the fringe is missing as shown in the photos.

Woven by Owen Morgan & Sons of Sommerset County in 1869, this coverlet is a wonderful show piece or beautiful on a bed. It has loose fringe on three sides. This reversible coverlet has a darker side for colder months and lighter for warmer
