Up forsale/sale is an original drink glass from Quark’s Bar & Restaurant whichwas located in the Las Vegas Hilton. The restaurant was tied closely to thethemed attraction which ran from 1998 to 2008 known as “Star Trek: TheExperience”, closing in September, 2008.

Fromarticles I’ve read describing glasses of this design (here and on other sites),this glass style come from Mexico and was hand blown. The glass is in greatshape with no chips, cracks, or damage and the graphics are bold and clear.

The glass isa frosted white with a pale bluish hue towards the very bottom. In a bronze/goldentext is written: “Quarks Bar and Restaurant”.This glass is a fairly difficult item to locate from a Restaurant whichonce had rave reviews from both Trekkies and Trekkers alike.

For thosewho may not know (or want to know) much about Star Trek Fans, this is asomewhat humorous definition I found for a Trekker vs. a Trekkie: “a Trekker represents a rational fan.Whereas, a Trekkie worships anything connected with Star Trek and would sellhis or her mother for a pair of Spock ears.”

If you areconsidering this for the Star Trek fan in your life, Quark’s was a popularcharacter in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine series who opened a bar know as“Quark’s” on Bajor.
