Features and further detailsThe standard size for shelf display is 330 x 100 x 30mm (13 x 4 x 1.2in) and costs $15, since I have access to the original CAD file, all dimensions can be modified. There are currently 2 versions available, the fused version and the split version. Due to printer limitations, the maximum size for the fused version is 330 x 100 x 30mm (13 x 4 x 1.2in), and the maximum size for the split version is 570 x 160 x 50mm (22.5x 6.3 x 2in). Depending on the final print size, I might increase or decrease the part cost. Please contact me if you would like to havecustom-sized parts.
- Infill: Since this is a display piece, the infill is set to around 5% to reduce print time and material consumption. As a result, the part is not robust enough to be used as a chair or as a bludgeoning tool
- Magnets:It's possible to embed magnets inside the part to turn it into a giant fridge magnet, contact me for more information
- Weight: The standard version weighs about 100g
Just like any other manufacturing process, FDM 3D printing has its strength and limitations, although we do our best to minimize artifacts during print, they are not possible to eliminate.
