A pair of early pontiled \"puff\" utility medicine bottles that we dug from an 1840s outhouse privy pit in Illinois. You get BOTH bottles .......no embossing...They are both hand blown in dip mold, so have no mold seams.....open pontil....thin flared lip..aqua....one is 2 5/8\"tall...the other is 2 3/8\"tall...Both are in good condition with only a small chip on the lip of one. Normal haze. I just uncovered some boxes of early pontiled bottles, pottery, etc that Paul and I had dug several years ago in downtown St.Louis, Memphis, Illinois, New Orleans, etc. Stay tuned for many exciting finds fresh to the market ..
