Up for grabs is an original early Cruver Manufacturing Company \"spotter-recognition\" P-38 model. This particular P-38 is in remarkable condition for its age. The WW2 era spotter models were made of cellulose acetate. Spotter models were used to train servicemen to quickly identify \"friend or foe.\" P-38 Spotter Models are highly collectible especially in nice condition. The last P-38 in this condition went for $175.00 on . 1/72 scale marked \"P-38-US-July 1942\" and circle C for Cruver Manufacturing Company. ALSO INCLUDED is an original Type A-11 Bank and Turn indicator gauge as used in the P-38. This is an early Type 11 indicator dated 1943 and marked AF Army. Additionally an original P-38 trim tab part is included.I added a lot of pictures with different angles to show the overall conditions. This is an great P-38 collection.
