Old Paris Sevres Style Hand Painted Watteau Scene Celeste Blue Gold 9 1/4 Inch Plate CBeautiful scalloped edge Old Paris porcelain dinner sized cabinet plate. Decorated in the Sevres style with a hand painted courting couple strolling in front of a lake, trees. There is a castle or large estate with towers on the opposite side of the lake. Has an elaborate celeste blue and gold gilt Neo-classical scrollwork border. Unmarked. Circa 1870s. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 9 1/4 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
