Asian String Puppet / Theater Marionette
Asian: Possibly Chinese / Indonesian/ Thailand or Burmese.
Plaster Molded Head with handpainted face and features.
Hand painted body is mostly wood with multi - jointed / articulated hands and legs
Mouth has teeth details carved and painted inside. The mouth opens and closes.
Eyes appear to be glass.
Appears to possibly have human or horse or animal hair on head.In good but old condition.
Scuffs, scratches throughout
Strings seem to be in tack but tangled
Hand - sewn silk and cotton clothing with obvious wear. Lovely swallow / bird design on jacket/ blouse
Old but date is unknown.

This came from a private estate. In my opinion, this itemis in nice oldcondition.
