OUTSTANDING Vintage 1860's Red & Green President's Wreath Antique Quilt Top:

This wonderful cotton 1860's president's wreath quilt top is all hand pieced and hand appliqued, with a complex floral vine border. A tag on the back identifies the top as catalogued in the "Wisconsin Quilt History Project #5288."It measures 82" X 84" and is in very good condition, with age spotting in places and wear in one red appliqued piece in the border (see pic).
The PRECISE APPLIQUE, CLASSIC DESIGN, and GREAT BORDER make this VERY EARLY quilt top stand out!
