The Royston mine in Nye County, Nevada was discovered in 1902 and is the oldest patented mine in Nevada. Royston turquoise is known for it's beautiful deep green to rich blue colors in the same formations. It has a heavy matrix ranging from dark brown to gold in color. Royston turquoise is considered very collectible.
