This Fern Fossil Impression is Wonderfully preserved and displays Beautiful Natural Colors of Red, Orange, Green, and Grey! We have gently cleaned this specimen with water.Fern fossils started their creation approximately 550 million years ago. The formation starts when a Fern Frond fell from a tree that then landed in a swamp with water. Throughout the years plant and animal life journeyed to the swamp covering up the Fern Frond. Many years later the swamp dried and the land remained. The elements of Nature and animals pushed the Fern Frond deeper into the Earth.
