This is a low grade item. It will be complete and readable, but will show significant wear. Allowed defects for this grade include: spine roll, a moderate amount of staining or water damage, writing or other marks on the cover, up to one inch spine splits or other tears, a cover or centerfold that is detached at one staple, discoloration due to oxidation, and a minor piece or pieces missing. An item could be assigned this grade due to either an accumulation of minor/moderate defects or one or two major defects.

Description

Cover by Sheldon Mayer (credited as Bud Fisher). Stories and art by Al Smith (credited as Bud Fisher), Jack Schiff, and Al Plastino. DC reprints the comic strip that defined the comic strip, featuring the original tall-and-short comedy duo. Also featuring the "topper" strip Cicero's Cat. Jeff decides to be a musical composer, but he knows nothing about writing music. Jeff wants Mutt to get him a job on the movie set, but being a stuntman might get him killed. Jeff's music makes people cry, but not for the right reason. Plus a PSA starring Superboy, promoting job counseling. Mutt & Jeff; Cicero's Cat; Job Counselor. 48 pages, Full Color.
